GUEST HOUSE

Step back in time and into this historic property that is one of the oldest in the village of Alamos, one of the Northern most Pueblo Magicos in Sonora and nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Occidental.

The property was once the Governor’s Palace and birthplace of a Mexican president.

It boasts original floors, ceilings, and furniture as well as hand painted wallpaper all dating back to the 1700’s.

Legendary actors Emmy winning Rip Torn and Oscar winning Geraldine Page bought the ruin in 1965 and used it as an artist’s retreat for their family and luminaries including playwright Tennessee Williams.

It is situated within a walled city block of antique gardens, open air galleries and a two story residence which has four guestrooms available to book for your next personal retreat.
