TORN PAGE®
TORN PAGE® is a trademarked family run company created to expand the vision of what humbly began as a writer’s “Salon” in the former home of our ancestors, legendary artists
Rip Torn and Geraldine Page.

We provide a place to honor the extraordinary artists and artistic excellence TORN PAGE® has championed since its beginning -- and provide support to help spearhead a new revolution of voices that dare to challenge the landscape as we know it.

TORN PAGE® is dedicated to exploring the stories of heros and myths — of those who came before us - giving us permission to expand our own vision of ourselves and our voice through one on one coaching, workshops and visionary retreats, providing consultation from first reading through production.

In 1993, the first gathering of 24 guests inaugurated what became a weekly presentation of world premiere readings in front of an audience with veteran actors alongside those just entering the craft - reading “cold” with no rehearsal or read thru beforehand - so everyone hears the written word aloud together for the first time together.
World premiere commercial productions of these works include: “.45” by Gary Lennon, presented at the Hampstead Theater in London, and “Edge” about the life of Sylvia Plath which premiered in NYC before touring in London, Miami, Marfa Texas, Los Angeles, Australia and New Zealand (Outer Critics Circle Nomination, New Times Award), Poet in Residence Rene Richard’s “The Death of Johnny Stompanado” and the tour of “Turning Page” a play about the extraordinary life and career of Geraldine Page.
